What is a Digital DJ?
A digital DJ is a Disc Jockey that uses a computer. When you look at our set up you will see a laptop computer, no turntables or cd's scattered all over the place. All of our music is purchased legally and stored digitally in the 192-bit sample rate, eliminating unnecessary sounds and resulting in better-than-cd quality music.
What does this allow The Right Note to do?
All the songs are kept on a play list and the computer will automatically transition between songs. The data base of music is easy to search through; all we need to do is type in the name of the song. No rifling through cases of CDs searching for music. In addition to music for listening and dancing, requests can be quickly added or changed as needed.
Our System
The system we use is called OtsAv and is used by radio stations world wide. All of our music is backed up on several hard drives and we bring a complete second set of equipment with us, just in case.
